Coordinator’s Corner: Insights and Updates from the Project Lead

Dear HySTrAm community,

At present, due to our efforts on the HySTrAm project, we have been able to gain significant knowledge and experience in Metal-Organic Framework (MOF) for hydrogen storage, catalysis for ammonia synthesis, and ammonia separation via sorbent materials.

This has enabled us to redefine both the ammonia production reactor and the entire process. At this stage, we have the elements to assemble the first containerised unit for the ammonia process of this kind. Thus, t is unit will undergo rigorous testing to ensure it meets our performance and safety standards.

We are thankful for ongoing support from project funder Horizon Europe and project partners. Together, we are making remarkable progress towards a cleaner and more efficient future.
